Kimberly Foley, MSSA, LISW-S. - Kim earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Baldwin Wallace College and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. She is licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker with the supervisory accredition and she has experience working children, adolescents, and adults since 2011. Kim has worked in an intensive outpatient program, community mental health center, and pediatric emergency room. She has experience providing Dialectical BehavioralTherapy (DBT) to adult groups, as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaivoral Therpay (TF-CBT) to children. She has also worked with children and adults in crisis situations through her time at the Sucide hotline.
Her professional passion is working with children who have been exposed to a traumatic event including abuse, domestic violence, and the loss of a loved one. Kim believes in personalizing treatment interventions based on the client‘s specific needs, and her goal is to empower individuals so they can overcome their struggles to lead a more fullfilling happy life.
Her interests include hiking, cooking and baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
