Laura Vajdich, PC-CR, ATR, CTS. - Laura graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy Counseling from Ursuline College, Ohio. Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio and a Registered Art Therapist, in addition to being a Certified Trauma Specialist with The National Institute of Trauma and Loss in Children. Laura began working in Education before making a transition to the counseling field due to her interest in the therapeutic effects of art with struggling students. Laura has worked in special education in England and has provided services for homeless adults in Dublin, Ireland. Since 2009, she has been working with highly challenging youth in schools, intensive in-home services, and residential settings.

Laura has additional training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Traumatic Grief Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Approaches. Laura does not believe in a "one size fits all" approach to counseling and will meet the individual where they are at and help determine where they would like to be.

Laura's interests include music, reading, documentary films, seeing new places, making art, and spending time with her family (and family dogs
